Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services in Ridgefield Park, NJ, is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead shifts, ensure exceptional customer service, and uphold brand standards. You will train new team members, monitor cash handling, and maintain food safety procedures.

The role requires strong cash handling, customer service, and leadership skills, with a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service by engaging in positive, helpful interactions with customers and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists in accordance with company policies.
• Operate POS system, process payments, and follow cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed, including labeling and dating.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Assist in training of new team members and follow brand standards and policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or problems and perform additional tasks as assigned.
