Applegreen USA Welcome Centers is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead on-shift teams at travel plazas across the Northeast/Midwest. You’ll ensure exceptional customer service, uphold brand standards, and manage cash handling procedures, opening and closing tasks, and daily checklists.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with customers and coworkers in a friendly, energetic manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily, and closing procedures and checklists.
• Operate POS system and handle payments according to policies.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling, dating, stocking, and temperature checks.
• Assist in cooking/prepping tasks as needed.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Train new team members.
• Follow brand standards and food safety requirements.
• Inform plaza leadership of issues observed.
• Execute other tasks as assigned.
