Job summary

Red Robin is seeking a Shift Supervisor to manage day-to-day restaurant operations during mid and closing shifts under the supervision of exempt management. You will train on-the-job and act as an ambassador of brand standards to ensure guest satisfaction and consistent quality.

As part of the leadership team, you will resolve guest concerns, help optimize profits, and uphold cleanliness and safety. This role may also cover other hourly positions as needed and schedules vary to meet restaurant

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum of 1 year full service restaurant experience preferred.
• Record of maintaining high standards in restaurant cleanliness, sanitation, food quality, and guest satisfaction.
• Business maturity and an ability to effectively supervise peers.
• High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred.
• Passion for the business and compassion for people.
• Highly energetic, self-motivated, goal oriented and dependable.
• Good oral and written communication skills, and outstanding leadership, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical/decision-making skills.
• Basic personal computer literacy.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Serv Safe Certified preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations during mid and closing shifts under exempt management.
• Act as ambassador of Red Robin Brand Equity Standards to ensure guest loyalty and profit maximization.
• Resolve guest interactions and maintain high product quality and restaurant cleanliness.
• Supervise peers and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Support training and leadership growth for current team members.
