Job summary

Red Robin is seeking a Shift Supervisor to help run daily operations during mid and closing shifts under exempt management. Training will cover management tasks and leadership growth, while you represent our brand equity standards and ensure guest satisfaction, quality food, cleanliness, and profit maximization.

As part of the leadership team, you may also work in other hourly roles and be scheduled to fit restaurant needs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum of 1 year full service restaurant experience preferred.
• Record of maintaining high standards in restaurant cleanliness, sanitation, food quality, and guest satisfaction.
• Business maturity and ability to supervise peers.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Passion for the business and compassion for people.
• Energetic, self-motivated, goal oriented and dependable.
• Good communication, leadership, interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
• Basic business math and accounting skills; strong analytical/decision-making skills.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including openings, closings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the restaurant during scheduled mid and closing shifts under exempt management.
• Serve as ambassador of Red Robin brand equity standards to ensure guest loyalty and profit maximization.
• Ensure product quality, restaurant cleanliness, and guest satisfaction; resolve issues as they arise.
• May also work in other hourly roles and be scheduled based on restaurant need.
