Job summary

Red Robin is hiring Shift Supervisors to lead day-to-day restaurant operations during mid and closing shifts under exempt management. This role helps uphold brand standards, resolve guest interactions, and maximize profits while ensuring quality and cleanliness.

Training will occur on-the-job to develop management and leadership skills. Qualified candidates bring energy, reliability, and strong communication; flexible scheduling including openings, closings, weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum of 1 year full service restaurant experience preferred.
• Record of maintaining high standards in restaurant cleanliness, sanitation, food quality, and guest satisfaction.
• Business maturity and ability to supervise peers.
• High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred.
• Passion for the business and compassion for people.
• Energetic, self-motivated, goal oriented and dependable.
• Good oral and written communication skills, and outstanding leadership, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical/decision-making skills.
• Basic personal computer literacy.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends and holidays. Reliable transportation required.
• Serv Safe Certified preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day to day operations during scheduled mid and closing shifts under the supervision of exempt management.
• Act as an ambassador of Company & Brand Equity Standards to ensure guest loyalty and profit maximization.
• Resolve guest interactions promptly to optimize profits and maintain product quality and restaurant cleanliness.
• May work in this role as well as other hourly roles as scheduled based on restaurant needs.
• Under supervision, participate in on-the-job training for management tasks and leadership growth.
