Applegreen USA Welcome Centers in Teaneck, NJ is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead on-site operations at our travel plaza. You will oversee team members, ensure top-notch service, and uphold brand standards and food safety requirements.

You’ll train new hires, manage opening/closing procedures, operate the POS, handle cash, and maintain product quality from labeling to temperature checks. Flexibility for days, nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service by engaging in positive, helpful interactions with customers and resolving complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists in accordance with company policies/procedures.
• Operate POS system, accurately process payments, and follow all customer service and cash handling policies and procedures.
• Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed including labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and checking temperature of products.
• Assist in training of new team members and follow brand standards, food safety requirements, and company policies.
