Applegreen (US) Welcome Centers in Elizabeth, NJ, is hiring a Shift Supervisor to lead daily operations across our travel plazas. You will supervise team members, deliver friendly service, manage cash handling, implement brand standards and food safety, and help train new hires.

Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, POS transactions, product stocking, and ensuring high-quality guest experiences for travelers. Flexible schedule and benefits included.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with customers and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve customer issues.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures and checklists.
• Operate POS system and process payments following cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling, dating, stocking, and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen-related tasks such as prepping, cooking, packaging, and cleaning.
• Stock and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products and maintain product knowledge.
• Assist in training new team members and uphold brand standards.
