Applegreen (US) Welcome Centers is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead shifts, ensure excellent customer service, and oversee operations across food service and retail areas. You will train teammates, manage cash handling, and uphold brand standards in a fast-paced travel plaza environment.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Able to interact with the public in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve customer concerns.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures per policies.
• Operate POS system, process payments accurately, and follow cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling procedures, including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, and checking temperatures.
• Perform kitchen tasks such as prep, cooking, packaging, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Actively cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards, food safety requirements, and company policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of issues observed or experienced.
• Execute other tasks as assigned.
