Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services in Newark, NJ is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead on-shift teams, ensure top customer service, and uphold brand standards and food safety. You will assist in training new hires and monitor cash handling procedures.

The role requires cash handling and customer service experience, with preferred leadership experience. You will promote friendly interactions with travelers and maintain operations on shift.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service and resolve customer complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists in accordance with company policies.
• Operate POS system and process payments following policies.
• Ensure proper food handling including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and temperature checks.
• Assist in training new team members and follow brand standards and food safety requirements.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or problems.
• Execute a variety of other tasks as assigned.
