Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is hiring a Shift Supervisor in New Jersey. You will lead shifts, ensure top-notch customer service, and supervise team members while ensuring compliance with cash handling and brand standards.

You will train new hires, manage POS transactions, and help with food preparation and safety. Flexible scheduling and opportunities to develop leadership skills are available.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve customer issues.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures and checklists.
• Operate POS system and handle payments per policies.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling, dating, stocking and storage.
• Assist in kitchen tasks and food prep.
• Stock, clean and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and upsell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards and company policies.
• Report observations or problems to plaza leadership.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
