Job summary

Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services in Secaucus, NJ, seeks a Shift Supervisor to lead on-shift teams, ensure exceptional customer service, and enforce brand standards and food-safety policies.

You will train new team members, manage cash handling per policies, perform opening/closing tasks, handle kitchen duties, stock and sanitize, and actively upsell products. This full-time role offers a flexible schedule including days and nights.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve customer concerns.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures in accordance with policies.
• Operate POS system and process payments following cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling, dating, stocking, and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen tasks including prepping, cooking, packaging, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
