Job summary

Services for the UnderServed (S:US) seeks a Shift Supervisor to support individuals with developmental disabilities at our Bronx program near Henry Hudson Parkway. The role focuses on supervising Direct Support Specialists, maintaining safety, and ensuring respectful, active treatment during shifts.

Qualified candidates will have at least a HS diploma, a valid NYS driver’s license, and prior direct-care experience; CPR/First Aid & AMAP/SCIP-R certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; Associates Degree preferred.
• One year’s experience providing direct services to developmentally disabled persons preferred.
• Valid NYS Driver’s license and must be able to pass insurance criteria.
• Preferred Certifications: AMAP, SCIP-R, CPR & First Aid

Responsibilities

• Supervise and instruct all Direct Support Specialists on shift.
• Responsible for overall functioning of the facility during the absence of the Program Director and Assistant Program Director.
• Responsible for the physical condition of the residence including agency vehicles; ensuring they are maintained in a safe and sanitary condition.
• Responsible for client and agency funds and expenditures during shift.
• Ensure appropriate follow-up to medication administration during shifts and after client medical appointments
