Services for the UnderServed (S:US) in Bronx, NY, is hiring Shift Supervisors to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them live their best life in a safe, respectful environment.

The Shift Supervisor will mentor Direct Support Professionals on each shift, oversee program operations in the absence of leadership, and ensure medication follow-up, safety, and daily welfare.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; advanced degrees preferred.
• Minimum three years experience in intellectual/developmental disability field.
• AMAP/SCIP-R/CPR & First Aid training; valid NYS driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and instruct all Direct Support Professionals on shift.
• Responsible for overall functioning of the facility during the absence of the Program Director and Assistant Program Director.
• Manage physical condition of residence and agency vehicles, ensuring safety and sanitation.
• Oversee client and agency funds during shift (petty cash, client monies, clothing monies, recreation).
• Ensure follow-up to medication administration during shifts and after medical appointments.
