Job summary

PLS is seeking a Shift Supervisor in Cincinnati, OH to lead daily store operations and deliver outstanding customer service. You will supervise staff, support the Store Manager, and help achieve sales and service goals while adhering to company policies.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of management experience, strong communication skills, integrity, and a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of management experience in hospitality, financial services, retail, or restaurant.
• Ability to engage with customers in a professional manner.
• Ability to develop positive relationships with internal and external customers.
• Strong desire to exceed corporate initiatives and inspire excellence in a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Must be honest and have integrity.
• Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• English fluency is required; English/Spanish bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain exemplary customer service and build relationships with customers.
• Establish a strong customer service culture within the store.
• Support the Assistant Store Manager to meet store goals and objectives.
• Motivate staff to exceed customer expectations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Oversee cashier duties in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Coach CSRs to deliver superior service and compliance.
• Review and approve checks within limits.
• Support store marketing efforts in the community.
• Resolve customer complaints.
• Assist with scheduling, cash management, and store audits.
• Review operations bulletins and training to stay current.
• Maintain a neat and clean store environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
