Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Shift Supervisor to support the CVS Store Management team in delivering store execution and customer service excellence. When there is no manager or Operations Supervisor onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads the store staff, ensures that store operations run smoothly, and is responsible for ensuring the completion of all opening and closing procedures.

The role requires a flexible schedule with potential early mornings, overnights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills and computer skills.
• Advanced communication skills and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight and weekend shifts, to work overtime as needed, and to respond to urgent issues at the store when they arise.

Responsibilities

• Manage store operations and lead staff in the absence of the manager.
• Supervise the store crew by directing and following up on all activities.
• Communicate information effectively with store management and crews.
• Assist customers with questions, problems and complaints and promote CVS customer service culture.
• Maintain customer confidentiality and ensure a positive shopping experience for CVS customers.
• Price merchandise, stock shelves, and execute displays and inventory according to promotions.
• Reset departments following planograms and ensure off-shelf merchandise is maintained.
