Job summary

Prysmian Group is seeking a Supervisor for a 12-hour rotating shift (7pm–7am) at our cable manufacturing plant in California. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and adherence to production goals with strong emphasis on leadership and problem-solving as part of our continuous improvement culture.

Required: 5+ years in manufacturing, high school diploma or equivalent; Lean and 6S training preferred; SAP and Excel skills advantageous.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing environment; OJT as needed.
• Lean Manufacturing and 6S training preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel training; SAP knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safety: follow all safety procedures, ISO14001 EMS guidelines, and act as emergency contact.
• Quality: ensure product meets requirements per Quality Management Systems, record quality notes.
• People: lead continuous improvement culture, conduct Tier meetings, coach operators, and drive 6S housekeeping.
• Delivery: plan and coordinate shift staffing and production activities to meet daily goals.
• Inventory/Cost: participate in counts and drive scrap reduction and labor efficiency.
