Job summary

Prysmian Group, a world leader in energy and telecom cable systems, invites applicants for a Team Lead role at our California fiber optic manufacturing plant. You will oversee one of four rotating 12-hour shifts in a 24/7 operation, ensuring safety, quality and production goals are met through effective staffing and process execution.

We seek candidates with at least two years of progressive management experience, a HS diploma (AS degree preferred), and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• AS degree preferred.
• At least two years of progressive management experience.
• Experience in manufacturing environments preferred.
• Experience in optical fiber cabling industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver production objectives and make quality decisions on shift.
• Execute shift operations plan by process area, focusing on ware movement and production priorities.
• Re-assign staffing resources based on current requirements.
• Manage MRR queue and monitor performance.
