Job summary

Prysmian is seeking a Supervisor for a 24/7 cable manufacturing plant in a 7pm–7am shift. The role oversees safety, quality, and production targets, leading continuous improvement and Lean initiatives while coaching operators and maintaining shift documentation.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in manufacturing, lean/6S training, and SAP experience, with strong communication and problem-solving skills to drive efficient plant operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing
• Lean manufacturing and 6S training preferred
• OJT completion on time; SAP knowledge advantageous
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee one of four rotating 12-hour shifts (7pm–7am) in a 24/7 plant
• Ensure safety and quality standards and that production goals are met
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and Lean practices
• Coach operators, conduct shift reports, and maintain Leader Standard Work (LSW)
• Coordinate staffing and production activities with management
• Support inventory counts and cost initiatives
