Make Your Mark at Prysmian!Role Overview: Du Quoin, ILOur Du Quoin facility produces low and medium voltage power cables and is rapidly improving productivity while reducing manufacturing costs. We’re seeking a hands-on leader to supervise and coordinate one or more major manufacturing functions on a shift. Your mission: plan work, optimize equipment and manpower, uphold safety and quality, sustain production flow to schedule, and ensure maintenance needs are addressed so operations continue without interruption.A Day in This RoleYou arrive prepared with a clear plan for the shift, grounded in your deep knowledge of our processes and equipment. You verify that operators have the raw materials, clear instructions, machine availability, and training needed to meet targets. On the floor, you hold teams accountable for safe, efficient performance and adherence to procedures, driving down scrap and waste. You evaluate individual performance, coach, and recommend improvements.Throughout the shift, you keep accurate records of attendance, absences, call-ins, and overtime, and you approve time in ADP. You address first-step grievances per established policy, partner with maintenance to keep lines running, and coordinate seamlessly with other departments to maintain continuous flow. You reinforce lean practices from PG1OPS—6S, Visual Management, RTFT, and Tier Communication—so improvements stick.
