Job summary

Prysmian Group Marion plant seeks a Production Supervisor to oversee a shift, coordinating activities to meet schedules and quality targets. You will ensure efficient use of equipment and manpower while maintaining a safe work environment and continuous production flow.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in manufacturing, strong communication, and Lean/Six Sigma exposure, with proficiency in Microsoft Office. This on-site role offers growth in a leading energy cable systems company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher; Engineering or related field preferred.
• 2–5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Lean Six Sigma or lean manufacturing training preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision over hourly associates and coordinates with other departments.
• Plan work and production for the shift using up-to-date process knowledge.
• Ensure raw materials, instructions, machine availability, and training meet production needs.
• Monitor safety practices, reduce scrap and waste, and maintain quality.
• Record attendance, overtime, and shift performance; ensure equipment and materials are ready.
