Job summary

SSP America is hiring Shift Supervisors to work at Urban Craves inside Washington Dulles International Airport. The role involves greeting guests, supervising shifts, training new staff and ensuring SSP standards are followed on opening and closing duties.

Ideal candidates will have 1+ year in food & beverage, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass a TSA background check. It is an excellent opportunity with room for advancement and immediate hiring available.

Qualifications

• TSA background check must be clear (10-year check).
• Age 18+ is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in food & beverage.
• Restaurant experience (full/quick service) is a plus.
• Proven ability to resolve difficult situations with guests and staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Run shifts according to SSP standards and procedures.
• Train new hires on operating standards and processes.
• Complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists as required.
• Provide support, coaching and direction to team to reach business goals.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Ideal Candidate For This Position Has

• Can pass a 10-Year TSA Background Check
• At least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one year of experience in the food & beverage industry
• Full Service and/or Quick Service restaurant experience, preferred
• Proven track record of resolving uncomfortable situations with clients, customers, peers and direct reports.
• Excellent written and verbal communication
