Job summary

Amcor Bowling Green plant is seeking a Safety Leader to oversee safety, quality and productivity. You will drive risk assessments, lead safety meetings, investigate incidents, and coordinate training across the manufacturing team to maintain a safe, compliant and efficient operation.

The role requires strong communication, accountability, and the ability to motivate and develop staff, while ensuring adherence to 5S, PPE and plant safety rules.

Qualifications

• Safety leadership and accountability in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to lead risk assessment activities and implement corrective actions.
• Experience in employee development and performance feedback.

Responsibilities

• Observe all safety precautions and food safety requirements.
• Coordinate full operation of manufacturing process to meet production schedules.
• Plan department activities and assign work to operators and setup staff.
• Train and develop employees; perform performance appraisals; conduct disciplinary actions as needed.
• Attend First Responder and PIT certifications per Amcor requirements.
