Job summary

Amcor Flexibles, LLC in Bowling Green, KY, is seeking a production associate to support daily extrusion operations, maintain safety and quality standards, and assist with line setup and reporting.

Responsibilities include assisting the Production Supervisor, performing basic equipment adjustments, training new hires, and ensuring accurate production records. The role requires high school diploma and ability to lift 50 lbs, with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be Level III.
• Ability to utilize a variety of computer software.
• Mechanical and troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Ability to work overtime and/or extended shifts as needed.
• Strong verbal and writing skills.
• Good general math skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate and work collaboratively with others.

Responsibilities

• Support Production Supervisor in planning and execution of production activities, including break relief.
• Set up and operation of extrusion equipment with correct resin, additives, line speed and temperature.
• Maintain a safe and clean workplace and promote safe behaviors.
• Assist with quality reviews and address concerns with Quality and Production management.
• Assist with preliminary troubleshooting of equipment and processes malfunctions.
• Conduct and facilitate training of new employees.
• Prepare production reporting and documentation, including daily labels and data entry.
• Observe all plant safety, quality and production policies.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
