Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead shift production with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. You will manage people, systems, and materials in accordance with policies and customer requirements to meet daily production goals.

Lead safety programs with the EHS team, monitor compliance with safety and quality policies, and drive continuous improvement through data-driven decisions and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 2 years’ experience in operations, production supervision, quality, maintenance or related experience preferred OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience totaling 5 or more years.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Computer proficiency with MS Office; SAP experience a plus.
• Must be able to work 12 hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Act as a safety leader and put safety first in all responsibilities.
• Oversee daily production to ensure production goals are achieved.
• Manage employee timecards and time-off requests to ensure accurate payroll and coverage.
• Champion continuous improvement projects and sustain gains from initiatives.
• Analyze production information using dashboards and SAP.
• Foster a high-performance culture and promote teamwork in each work group.
• Provide open two-way dialogue and motivate workers to achieve goals.
