Amcor is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee safety, quality, and manufacturing on the assigned shift. You will supervise and train production personnel to deliver quality products that meet customer needs.

You will drive safety on the floor, complete incident reports, and lead shift activities to achieve production goals while coaching staff and ensuring efficient machine operation.

Formación

• Three to five years' experience in production environment in a leadership role, preferably in plastics production.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure safety of all shift employees by inspecting the production floor and addressing hazards.
• Complete incident reports thoroughly and conduct preliminary safety investigations.
• Oversee required safety training for topics selected.
• Set production goals for the shift based on plant goals and help the team reach them.
• Monitor product quality by coordinating with Quality Auditors and Technicians.
• Develop and train shift staff; perform performance appraisals and address issues.
• Prepare staffing plans to ensure adequate coverage on all machines.
• Optimize production scheduling and labor utilization for efficiency.
• Motivate and coach employees with regular feedback and identify additional training needs.
• Delegate tasks to shift personnel to manage the shift effectively.
• Ensure machines run per production schedule and specifications.
