CF Industries in the United States is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead the production team in a safe, efficient, and cost-conscious manner. You will plan, coordinate, and control daily operations, directing a shift crew to process raw materials into on-spec product while safeguarding company resources.

You will train technicians, enforce safe procedures, review performance metrics, and collaborate with other departments to meet quality and regulatory standards under a rotating shift

Formación

• High School Diploma and/or 5+ years of experience in a chemical manufacturing facility.
• Effective leadership skills.
• Solid communication skills including the ability to effectively converse in English, compose written documents and interact effectively with peers and supervisors.

Responsabilidades

• Directly responsible for promoting company relations and employee morale through effective communication.
• Fosters a culture of safety and environmental excellence by providing a work environment that promotes hazard identification and reporting.
• Responsible for safe and efficient operation of the plant during startup, normal operation, and shutdown.
• Ensures technicians understand and follow safe operating procedures and emergency response procedures.
• Investigates neighbor complaints and administers plant procedures accordingly.
• Acts as Incident Commander during plant emergency response.
• Develops and maintains inter-department relationships to meet objectives.
• Performs supervision admin tasks: timesheets, attendance, scheduling, evaluations, training, policy administration.
• Maintains records and ensures proper knowledge transfer between supervisor and technicians.
• Trains technicians to become qualified operators and future supervisors.
• Provides leadership and practical guidance in operating procedures, troubleshooting, and problem solving.
• Ensures routine tasks, readings, maintenance, and reports are completed safely and on time.
