This fast-paced, rotating-shift position offers career growth within a major chemical group. Applicants should have an Engineering or Science background, strong communication, and proven leadership in manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• Requires Engineering or Science-related Bachelor's degree or 4+ years manufacturing experience in lieu of degree.
• Proven focus on safety, quality, production and environmental matters.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to motivate, prioritize and organize in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience with plant processes and ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise six to twelve hourly employees involved in chemical manufacture and packaging across multiple lines.
• Maintain and improve safety standards; enforce safe work practices.
• Identify and initiate corrective actions to prevent nonconformities in quality and production efficiency.
• Ensure finished product meets customer specifications and sign off on orders.
• Participate in plant maintenance with engineering and maintenance teams; drive continuous improvement.
