Job summary

Ryder is seeking an Operations Supervisor to assist the Operations Manager with shift-level operations at the Charlotte, NC location. You will supervise technicians and customer service staff, manage workflow, and ensure KPIs are met while balancing safety, quality, and cost targets.

The role offers cross-functional training, potential career progression to Ops Manager, and a comprehensive benefits package. Hours are 8:00am–5:00pm, Tuesday–Saturday.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma/GED required.
• Associate/Bachelor degree preferred or 1–3 years in maintenance ops environment.
• Experience with a Shop Management System preferred.
• Maintenance/Technical shop experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manage workflow: planning, scheduling, and assign work to technicians.
• Lead and train shop personnel; enforce safety and quality standards.
• Maintain customer satisfaction through effective communication and service delivery.
• Oversee parts inventory and tooling to support maintenance operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety, EPA regulations, and internal processes.
