Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Dallas, TX is seeking an Operations Supervisor to assist the Operations Manager with shift staffing, workload planning, and achieving operational objectives.

You will oversee Technicians-In-Charge, Customer Service Coordinators, Technicians, and Service Employees to meet labor, safety and asset targets while balancing costs and customer satisfaction. This role is a developmental path toward an Ops Manager position, offering cross-functional training and advancement

Qualifications

• HS diploma/GED is required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred or 1–3 years in maintenance ops; Ryder may substitute.
• Maintenance/Technical shop experience required could substitute for degree requirement.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and assign work to technicians; monitor productivity and RO approvals.
• Manage personnel performance and development; provide training.
• Maintain customer uptime and handle PM scheduling, breakdowns, and vehicle status updates.
