Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an Operations Supervisor to support the Operations Manager by managing a shift, supervising Technicians-In-Charge, Customer Service Coordinators and Service Employees.

The role focuses on meeting labor, safety, quality and asset targets while maintaining customer satisfaction and operational performance. The position requires strong leadership, shop-floor scheduling, and familiarity with maintenance processes.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma/GED required.
• Associate's degree preferred or 1-3 years or more experience in a maintenance operations environment required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or 1-3 years or more experience in a maintenance operations environment required.
• Maintenance and Technical experience in a shop environment required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with a Shop Management System preferred.
• Microsoft Office intermediate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Workflow Management: planning and scheduling, assigning work to technicians, productivity tracking and optimization.
• Labor Management: training and development of all personnel assigned and performance management.
• Customer Management: customer relationship management, issue resolutions, satisfaction and retention, and communicating PM scheduling.
• Asset Management: oversee shop tooling and equipment, vehicle specifications, SAM documentation.
• Quality Management: inspections, root cause analysis, corrective actions and continuous improvement.
• Maintain data integrity in the Shop Management Online system.
• Ensure safety and EPA compliance and maintain documentation.
• Additional duties as assigned.
