Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an Operations Supervisor in Phoenix, AZ. You will assist the Operations Manager with shift-wide operations, supervise technicians and coordinators, and drive performance against labor, safety, quality, and asset metrics.

You will also train staff, manage scheduling, and coordinate customer communications while upholding Ryder policies and procedures. This role supports a fast-paced shop environment with opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; higher degrees preferred.
• Maintenance operations experience required; supervisory exposure valued.
• Experience with shop management systems is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage workflow analysis, planning, scheduling and labor allocation.
• Oversee performance metrics, safety, quality and cost targets.
• Lead personnel development and performance management.
• Maintain customer relations and on-time service delivery.
• Direct shop assets, tooling, inventory and compliance.
• Ensure documentation, QA checks and continuous improvement.
