Job summary

Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream Inc. is seeking a shift operator to maintain safe, efficient production on a fast-paced line.

You will follow safety protocols, perform equipment checks, log batch data, and coordinate with the previous or next operator during handoffs. Responsibilities include setting controls, pumping ingredients from holding tanks, sampling and testing, completing quality checks, maintaining hygiene, and finishing the CIP cycle.

Qualifications

• Aptitude for automated mechanical processes with troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, math and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work multiple shifts and/or schedules.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set machine controls; verify recipe and product parameters.
• Pump bulK liquids from holding tanks to dry blend mixer and formulate batches.
• Take samples, test results, and email to lab; perform quality checks.
