Job summary

Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream is seeking a Mix Room Operator to consistently produce mixes and receive bulk materials through effective processing, accurate testing, and strict adherence to quality, safety and hygiene standards.

You will rotate through stations, handle materials, perform CIP/sanitize, set up tanks and lines, test buttermilk fat and solids, complete HTST documentation, and maintain a clean, organized work area while following SOPs and SSOPs.

Qualifications

• Aptitude for automated mechanical processes with troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, math and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work multiple shifts.
• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• One-year related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage mix room processes to ensure quality and safety.
• Handle materials, take samples, test, and record results.
• Prepare CIP/sanitize and set up mix tanks, tankers, lines and fruit-fill lines.
• Monitor equipment (HTST, homogenizer, pumps) and maintain documentation.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and enforce SOPs/SSOPs.
