Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America in Wilbraham, MA is seeking a Pasteurizer Operator to ensure pasteurization meets safety and quality standards. You will run the pasteurizer, monitor temperatures, and follow GMPs.

The role requires teamwork, ability to follow directions in a fast-paced environment, and accurate record-keeping; production experience and a high school diploma are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Production or general work experience preferred.
• Certification and/or License - may be required during course of employment.

Responsibilities

• Operate pasteurizer in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Obtain milk and cream samples for testing by lab to include raw and processed product.
• Wash and sanitize milk silos, cream tanks, and any other equipment as needed.
• Produce product according to guidelines and separate into correct batches.
• Follow recipe guidelines for all products produced.
• Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately.
• Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues.
• Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.
