Job summary

Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream in Tulare, CA is seeking a Mix Room Operator to manage materials, test quality parameters, and maintain hygienic conditions in a fast-paced dairy processing environment. You will rotate through stations, handle dry ingredients and liquids, perform CIP and sanitation, and monitor equipment to ensure compliance with specifications.

The role emphasizes GMP/HACCP/QMS adherence, timely paperwork, and teamwork to meet production goals while maintaining safety and quality

Qualifications

Aptitude for automated mechanical processes with good troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Excellent interpersonal communication, math and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work multiple shifts and/or schedules.
High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
One-year related experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

Rotate to work stations and handle all materials within the Mix Room to support Mix Room schedule.
Ensure materials pulled in FEFO and verify ingredients.
CIP/Sanitize and set-up mix tanks, tankers, lines & fruit–fill lines; follow SOPs/SSOPs.
Complete operator level PMs and cycle counts.
Test butterfat and solids to ensure they meet specifications and notify QA if not.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the mix area and storage areas.
Follow GMP/HACCP/QMS and product safety regulations.
Lead pre-shift meetings as necessary and conduct shift hand-off meetings.
Train others as assigned.
