Job summary

Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream Inc. is seeking a production associate to support daily manufacturing operations in a fast-paced environment.

You will ensure safety devices are functional, operate equipment per work orders, and verify recipes and batch records throughout the shift. You will monitor processes, collect samples, report lab results, and maintain accurate documentation while collaborating with team members to meet production targets.

Qualifications

• Requires good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Basic math and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Ability to follow complex safety procedures and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Obtain work schedule and daily production priorities from the scheduler and prepare for operations.
• Answer telephones, e-mails, voice mail and address or resolve production issues.
• Complete shift hand-off with the prior operator and discuss line issues.
• Ensure safety devices are tested and log results in database.
• Operate within safety requirements and perform housekeeping and sanitation tasks.
• Set machine controls per work order and verify recipes and batch records.
• Monitor processes, take samples, test, and email results to the lab.
• Enter data into SAP/Globe databases and complete batch documentation.
