Job summary

Blake's Lotaburger invites applications for a Shift Manager to support the MOD in overseeing daily restaurant operations. This role emphasizes exceptional customer service, strict cost control, and leadership of the crew to maintain fast, friendly service in a clean, safe environment.

The Shift Manager reports to the General Manager and will assist with ensuring policy adherence, food safety, inventory, and training, while handling multiple tasks in a high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• Professional with a positive attitude and customer service skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma and at least six months of restaurant experience.
• Ability to work flexible schedule up to 28 hours/week (PT) or 40 hours/week (FT).
• Professional appearance; tattoos/piercings policy compliant.
• Health codes knowledge for handling raw meat and eggs.
• Moderate computer skills: email, POS, and Blake's BOH system.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to read/write/speak English; bilingual Spanish is a plus.
• Food Handler Certification required.
• Ability to prioritize and work without direct supervision.
• Follows all company policies and SOPs.
• Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment; willingness to take feedback.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and committed to quality.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer experience for every Blake's Lotaburger guest.
• Demonstrate high level of customer service when addressing complaints.
• Ensure proper preparation of each menu item following the correct process.
• Develop leadership skills to motivate crew members.
• Ensure kitchen complies with applicable food safety laws.
• Document deposits and monitor cash handling per policy.
• Assist with inventory and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Train and develop crew, provide constructive feedback for growth.
• Stock shelves, receive deliveries, and maintain housekeeping.
• Adhere to company policies, safety requirements, and SOPs.
