Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes in New York is seeking a Shift Manager to lead bakery operations during assigned shifts, coach teammates, and ensure guests receive outstanding service while upholding our standards for quality, cleanliness, and teamwork.

You will open and close procedures, handle cash, and support cake decoration and production as needed, all while maintaining a positive, fast-paced environment and reflecting the Nothing Bundt Cakes brand.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in retail, restaurant, or food service preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Oversee daily bakery operations and ensure smooth shift execution.
• Provide training and coaching to team members.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily reporting.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company standards.
• Support guest service, cake decoration, frosting, and production activities as needed.
• Address guest concerns professionally and resolve issues promptly.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate operational needs to management.
• Cultivate a positive, team-oriented culture reflecting the brand.
