Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes in Bayside, NY is seeking a Shift Manager to lead bakery operations during assigned shifts and support team members across all areas. You will help ensure outstanding guest service while upholding standards for quality, sanitation, and teamwork.

You will coach staff, manage opening/closing procedures, handle cash, and prepare daily reports in a fast-paced bakery environment. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership, supervisory, retail, restaurant, or food service experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Oversee daily bakery operations and ensure smooth shift execution.
• Provide coaching, training, and support to team members.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily reporting.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company standards.
• Support guest service, cake decoration, frosting, and production activities as needed.
• Address guest concerns professionally and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate operational needs to management.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented culture that reflects the Nothing Bundt Cakes brand.
