Job summary

Shake Shack in Sterling Heights, MI is seeking a restaurant leadership professional to manage the flow of service on a shift, directing team members to uphold safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed. The role emphasizes hands-on mentorship and a commitment to hospitality excellence.

You will help build and lead a high performing team of hourly Team Members and may support purchasing, receiving, and inventory activities. Interviews and employee relations support are part of the role.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of restaurant leadership experience supervising a team.
• Food Safety Certification according to local jurisdiction
• Strong problem solving skills
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Manage the flow of service and direct the work of team members on a shift to ensure the highest levels of safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed.
• Help build and lead high performing team of hourly Team Members.
• May assist with operational support functions (i.e. Purchasing, Receiving, Inventory, etc.)
• Participates in applicant interviews and assists with employee relations.
