Job summary

Shake Shack Minneapolis is seeking a Shift Lead to help run a fast-paced service shift with a strong emphasis on safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed. You will supervise a team of hourly Team Members and take a hands-on role in delivering memorable guest experiences.

In this role you may support purchasing, receiving and inventory, participate in interviews, and contribute to a positive, growth‑oriented work environment where learning and development are valued.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of restaurant leadership experience supervising a team.
• Food Safety Certification according to local jurisdiction.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Manage the flow of service and direct the work of team members on a shift to ensure the highest levels of safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed.
• Help build and lead high performing team of hourly Team Members.
• May assist with operational support functions (i.e. Purchasing, Receiving, Inventory, etc.)
• Participates in applicant interviews and assists with employee relations.
