Diversified Restaurant Group (DRG) seeks a Shift Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, motivate the team, and ensure 5-star customer service while on duty at our California locations. The role emphasizes leadership, training, and adherence to standards in a fast-paced environment.

As MIC, you will monitor service quality, coach staff, and help meet financial goals. Applicants should have restaurant experience, basic math, and a commitment to safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Preferred: 6 months to 1 year of restaurant experience, with proven leadership experience across all shifts.
• Must maintain a current Health Card according to state or local requirements.
• Basic math and reading proficiency.
• Must be able to read, speak, comprehend, and write in English.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
• Must be able to pass SERVSAFE Certification Course and Exam.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Physical Requirements: Stand and walk continuously; lift up to 50 pounds; perform motions like bending, reaching, pushing, pulling.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Provide 5-star service to all customers and ensure customer satisfaction is a top priority.
• Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and motivate team members to succeed. Verify duties are completed timely and team presents professionally.
• Team Development: Train and develop individuals for leadership roles, with constructive feedback.
• Operations Leadership: Serve as MIC and ensure adherence to company policies and standards.
• Profit & Loss Management: Assist upper leadership with achieving the restaurant's financial goals.
• Communication: Inform upper leadership about any issues at the restaurant.
