HMSHost is seeking a Manager I in Tampa, FL to assist branch management in executing QSR restaurant operations. The role ensures the restaurant is clean, ready for business, staffed, and operates to high standards.

You will supervise daily activities, participate in hiring, create schedules, and maintain safety and service quality across the unit. The position requires 2+ years in food & beverage with supervisory experience, cash handling, and a strong customer focus.

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of 2 years food and beverage experience.
• Experience in cash handling and customer service is required.
• Some supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes opening, daily and closing procedures per policies.
• Supervises day-to-day activities of associates within unit.
• Participates in interviews and staffing decisions with GM input.
• Prepares schedules and ensures shifts are covered.
• Monitors rest breaks, meals and safety procedures.
• Maintains cleanliness and visual appeal of display areas.
• Manages equipment and cash handling per HMSHost policies.
• Ensures health and safety compliance and reports concerns.
