Job summary

HMSHost is seeking a Manager II to assist branch management in executing complex QSR or Casual Dine restaurant operations. Ensure the restaurant is clean, staffed, and operating to high standards. Use policies to make managerial decisions and support the GM in daily operations.

The role requires supervising associates, managing schedules, and upholding health and safety guidelines while coordinating with leadership on hiring and performance matters. On-site presence is essential.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum 4 years of F&B, cash handling and customer service experience.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory or lead experience in Casual Dine restaurant or production kitchen.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, policy documents, and interact with customers.

Responsibilities

• Completes opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists per policies.
• Supervises day-to-day activities of associates within a unit or group of restaurants.
• Ensures compliance with all alcohol policies and AB procedures.
• Participates in interviewing and hiring processes; recommends changes to the GM.
• Assigns tasks, prepares schedules, and ensures shifts are covered.
• Monitors mandated breaks and meal periods for all staff.
• Maintains clean, stocked, and appealing display areas.
• Ensures equipment is in good working order and cash handling is proper.
• Tracks wellness and safety procedures and reports safety concerns.
• Performs Health and Safety activities per the Manager’s Guide.
• Places orders for units, receives goods, and processes invoices.
• Maintains up-to-date contact information for all associates.
