Job summary

Shake Shack is hiring for a restaurant leadership role focused on supervising a team of hourly Team Members and guiding daily operations to maintain safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed. This position offers exposure to purchasing, receiving, inventory, and related support functions.

Applicants should have leadership experience in a restaurant, a Food Safety Certification, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of restaurant leadership experience supervising a team.
• Food Safety Certification according to local jurisdiction.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Manage the flow of service and direct the work of team members on a shift to ensure the highest levels of safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed.
• Help build and lead high performing team of hourly Team Members.
• May assist with operational support functions (i.e. Purchasing, Receiving, Inventory, etc.)
• Participates in applicant interviews and assists with employee relations.
