Diversified Restaurant Group is seeking a Shift Manager for California operations. You will be accountable for restaurant duties during shifts, mentor staff, and uphold service standards to deliver 5-star customer experiences.

The role requires leading teams, training future leaders, and acting as MIC to enforce company policies and drive profitability. Eligibility includes 18+, health card, SERVSAFE certification, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 6 months to 1 year of restaurant experience with leadership across all shifts preferred.
• Must maintain a current Health Card per state/local rules.
• Basic math and reading proficiency.
• Must read, speak, and write English.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
• Must pass SERVSAFE Certification Course and Exam.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Stand/walk continuously; lift up to 50 lbs; perform related motions.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Provide 5-star service to all customers and prioritize satisfaction.
• Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and motivate team; ensure duties are completed on time.
• Team Development: Train and give feedback to aspiring leaders.
• Operations Leadership: Act as MIC and enforce policies and standards.
• Profit & Loss Management: Support upper leadership in meeting financial goals.
• Communication: Keep upper leadership informed of issues.
