Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive fast, accurate, and friendly service. A Shift Manager provides leadership to crew members and other managers during the shift to maintain high quality, service, and cleanliness. Shift Managers plan each shift, monitor performance, ensure compliance with McDonald’s standards, oversee safety, security, and profitability, and communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare for a smooth transition. They may also be responsible for meeting targets, completing paperwork promptly, and supporting their assigned departments to meet goals.

As a Shift Manager, you may be responsible for:
