Subway Team is seeking a Shift Manager to focus on guest experience, food quality, and restaurant upkeep. You will train Sandwich Artists, schedule and supervise staff, and ensure inventory and equipment are in good order.

Education requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least 1 year in a restaurant setting. This role offers full- and part-time day/evening/weekend shifts at various locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a restaurant environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide excellent guest experience and ensure quality food preparation.
• Schedule and supervise staff across shifts.

As part of the Subway® Team, you as a Shift Manager will focus on six main things:

In addition to the role of a typical Sandwich Artist®, key parts of your day to day will consist of:

• Cascading training to Sandwich Artists™ on existing and new responsibilities
• Scheduling and supervising staff
• Practicing inventory control standards
• Ensuring equipment is in proper working order during shift
• Completing paperwork as needed

PREREQUISITES

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in a restaurant environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Communication and organizational skills

Physical: Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
