Job summary

IHOP 1404 Garland is seeking a full-time Crew Chief to lead a high-performing shift, guide team members, and ensure smooth service. You will train staff, oversee assignments, and help promote a collaborative work environment to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

Responsibilities include monitoring time cards, adjusting schedules to reduce overtime, enforcing SOPs, checking deliveries, handling cash, and ensuring quality and consistency across operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak and read English.
• Good communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and readiness of personnel, equipment, and supplies to meet business needs.
• Supervise employee duties, assign tasks, encourage teamwork, and promote a collaborative work environment; ensure clear information on food preparation and service for exceptional customer experiences.
• Conduct orientation and training for new employees and refresher training for current staff.
• Monitor and review time cards daily, adjust schedules to meet restaurant needs and minimize overtime.
• Enforce portion control measures as outlined in SOPs, maintain security protocols, check deliveries for accuracy and quality.
• Handle cash receipts, reconcile funds, and make daily deposits.
