Job summary

IHOP in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking a full-time Crew Chief to lead a high-performing team and ensure exceptional guest experiences. You will supervise scheduling, training, and performance, while promoting teamwork and clear communication about new menu items, promotions, and standards.

Responsibilities include orienting new hires, delivering refresher trainings, overseeing cash handling, timekeeping, and safety procedures, and maintaining quality and service throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak and read English.
• Good communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Relevant experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and readiness of personnel, equipment, and supplies to meet business needs.
• Help assign employee duties, encourage teamwork, and promote a collaborative work environment.
• Inform employees about new menu items, specials, and promotions to ensure understanding of food prep and service.
• Supervise time cards, adjust schedules to meet restaurant needs, and minimize overtime.
• Enforce standards of service and maintain security and accuracy during deliveries and cash handling.
